Celeste Barber is bringing her new show ‘Backup Dancer’ to Geelong

Australia's beloved comedy sensation, Celeste Barber, is set to embark on a nationwide tour in 2024, showcasing her latest production, "Backup Dancer."

The tour promises a comedic exploration of a plethora of significant political topics, ranging from liberating nipples to sending inappropriate texts to therapists. With an intriguing peek into the life of Taylor Swift’s backup dancer, attendees can expect a night of laughter, engaging storytelling, and plenty of Celeste Barber’s high-energy antics.

The “Backup Dancer” tour is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday 7th August at Civic Theatre, Newcastle, followed by a string of performances across major cities including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Adelaide, before concluding in Perth on Thursday 5th September.

Expressing her excitement about the upcoming tour, Celeste Barber shared, “I’m excited to tell some jokes, relive some awkward memories and high kick my way across the stage with my new show Backup Dancer.”
