The line-up of stellar artists is accompanied by other entertainment, like tap dancers, hula hoopers, acapella groups and inflatable snowmen and snowflakes.

The entertainment acts can be found at a number of Geelong locations, with musicians popping up on Yarra street, Pakington Street and Union Street, right outside venues like Adamo Pizzeria, Okami Japanese, Enzo’s on Pako, The Village Door and Sodi Cafe, as well as High Street, Belmont; Belle Vue Avenue, Highton; The Centreway, Lara; The Terrace, Ocean Grove; and Eastern Beach Road, Geelong.

All the events are completely free and run from Monday to Friday for the entirety of June.

Greater Geelong Mayor Stephanie Asher said the initiative was a feature of the Council’s push to attract and retain visitors to our commercial precincts.

“The roving performers will add further personality and life to the busy precincts.

“We hope they will create a more enjoyable experience for visitors and provide another reason for people to spend more time sampling the local dining and shopping options.”

The perfect way to catch some live music at lunch, or take the kids for some midweek entertainment, Geelong’s new street entertainment has something for everyone.

There’s no tickets or bookings required to catch these free gigs, just suss the locations online and show up! Please note performances are weather dependant and subject to change.
