Camp Quality Geelong Convoy returns this weekend, raising money for kids with cancer

Get out and cheer on all the trucks and bikes this Sunday to bring fun back into the lives of kids facing cancer.

Camp Quality’s Geelong Convoy is back for 2023, returning to Avalon Raceway on Sunday, February 19.

An annual event, the convoy is a fun way for anyone who drives a truck or motorbike to show their support for kids and families experiencing the scary realities of a cancer diagnosis.

Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around the region here.

Featuring around 150 trucks and motorcycles, the sold-out 60km convoy will begin at Avalon Raceway from 9am and pass through Lara, Corio, Waurn Ponds, Belmont and the Geelong CBD before finishing back at Avalon Raceway for the day’s festivities.

Rides and entertainment will be running from 10.30am at the raceway on the day, with the convoy expected to return at 11am.

As a beloved event raising funds for kids and families impacted by cancer for eight years, providing access to life-changing cancer support services, people are encouraged to cheer on the trucks streetside.

At time of writing, $127,484 had been raised by fundraising teams and individuals heading for its goal of $130,000.
