Brewmanity will offer three levels of drinking and dining - the Beer Hall with views of the beer tanks, and Good Times bar on level 1 and the Rooftop, both with expansive views of the city.

Excitement is brewing in Melbourne as Brewmanity, the city’s first rooftop brewery bar, prepares to open its doors next month, offering a unique drinking and dining experience spread across three levels.

Scheduled to open on Thursday, 14th March in South Melbourne, Brewmanity will feature three distinct spaces for patrons to enjoy. The Beer Hall, located on the ground level, provides a glimpse into the brewing process with views of the beer tanks. Moving up to the first level, visitors will find the Good Times bar, while the rooftop offers panoramic views of the city skyline, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a cold one.

In addition to the public areas that offer full accessibility and retractable weatherproof outdoor awnings – there is also a private room available for corporate meetings, get-togethers or private events, accommodating 8-16 people.

Brewmanity will also serve up a delicious food menu by chef Suman featuring sharing plates and bar bites to accompany the drinks. Various dietary needs will be catered too with a delectable range of vegan and gluten free options.

Founded by AFL legend David Neitz in 2015, Brewmanity is not just about crafting great beer but also about making a positive impact in the community. The brewery has a strong philanthropic ethos, regularly raising funds for Fight MND (Motor Neurone Disease) and contributing nearly $970,000 to date. With the opening of its first venue, Brewmanity aims to further its commitment to charity by supporting Fight MND’s 10th ‘Big Freeze at the G’ in June.

The journey of Brewmanity began with a group of beer enthusiasts who dreamed of starting their own brewery. Inspired by a trip to Belgium in 2009, David Neitz, along with Jamie Fox and Paul Hopgood, embarked on a mission to create a beer experience that combined tradition with innovation. Brewmanity prides itself on its 21-day brewing process, using natural fermentation and modern techniques to create a range of beers that cater to all palates.

“We are so excited to be only weeks away from opening the doors to Brewmanity brewery and bar,” said co-founder David Neitz. “This has been a project a long time in the making and we are thrilled that our beer will have a home that the public can enjoy. With three levels of drinking and dining in the Beer Hall and Next Level rooftop, the venue is a place for the community to gather and enjoy time together. And the unparalleled views of the city offer the most unique brewery experience I’ve seen in Victoria.”

To mark its grand opening, Brewmanity has lined up a series of events, including a St Patrick’s Day celebration on Sunday 17th March in support of the Jim Stynes Foundation. Additionally, from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th March, guests can catch all the F1 Grand Prix action on big screens on the rooftop, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

As Brewmanity prepares to open its doors, beer lovers can look forward to experiencing the city’s newest hotspot – we sure are!

Brewmanity opens its doors on 14 March at 44-50 Tope Street, South Melbourne. Find out more here
