Originating from Geelong and merging into households across Melbourne, the six-piece rockers, made up of Jasper Jolley (vocals, guitar), Finn Chappell (vocals, guitar, bass), Tom Maschio (guitar), Conor Bromley (drums), Bailey Bates (bass, keys, vocals), and George Carroll-Wilson (lap steel guitar, bass, percussion, vocals), have become known for their unique blend of Australiana/Kiwi alt-rock.

Describing ‘My Friend’, lead vocalist and guitarist Jasper Jolley said: ‘My Friend is about marking a point if change in life, trusting your gut over rationale and hoping you don’t get caught behind.’

After releasing their sophomore album Ginger Gold (Farm Singles) in 2021, Bones and Jones welcomed praise across national radio and press and were nominated for the prestigious Australian Music Prize and Music Victoria Awards.

The dynamic genre bending six-piece continuously sell-out venues in Melbourne and have become an act not to miss. Bones and Jones have hit the stages of esteemed festival line-ups such as Boogie Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Meadow, King Gizzard’s Timeland and played alongside bands such as King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Murlocs, The Nude Party (USA), Stonefield, and Twin Peaks (USA).
