frankie. Bar & Eatery, the beloved Pan-Asian fusion restaurant, is gearing up for a big move.
After being crowned the ‘People’s Choice’ for the best restaurant in the region by the Geelong Advertiser just recently, the team at frankie. followed up the win with their plans to relocate to a larger and more exciting venue.

The mastermind behind Frankie., Ross Blackam, explained the decision, saying, “We have outgrown our current location and when an opportunity presented itself to expand our premises, we jumped at it. This new venue is fresh, vibrant and allows us to offer a more premium experience in a larger space. Rest assured, we will continue to offer the same Pan-Asian fusion dishes and incredible cocktails you know and love at our new address – with the same award-winning team.
“We have partnered with North Building Group for the new restaurant and bar fit-out, so the premises are set to be spectacular. Watch this space – it’s going to be something very, very special.”
Fear not, loyal Frankie. fans; your favourite spot isn’t going far. frankie. will remain in central Geelong on Malop Street and relocate to the opposite side of the street to 26 Malop Street, Geelong, the previous home of Piano Bar. This new, larger venue spans two levels, boasting a designated function area upstairs, complete with a restaurant and bar on the ground floor.

To facilitate this exciting transition, frankie. will temporarily close its doors from the 16th to the 27th of October. But hold your chopsticks, because the grand opening at the new venue is scheduled for Saturday, the 28 October. All existing reservations and functions will be notified and seamlessly transferred to the new location.
