Neil Frances have just announced Sydney and Melbourne shows this August and September respectively.

Acclaimed musical duo Neil Frances composed of Jordan Feller and Marc Gilfry, have just announced their upcoming live performances in Australia. Presented by Untitled Group, the duo will captivate audiences with their unique blend of beat-driven pop infused with an organic warmth that sets them apart from their contemporaries.

The first show will take place at the renowned Oxford Arts Factory in Sydney on Thursday, August 31. The second performance will be held at The Espy in Melbourne on Friday, September 1. Neil Frances is renowned for their enthralling live sets, always performing with a multi-piece band, creating an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts.

Hailing from Sydney and Southern California, Jordan Feller and Marc Gilfry joined forces in 2016, bringing together their diverse musical backgrounds and talents. Feller, a self-taught electronic music DJ, started his music career in Australia, while Gilfry grew up in a musically-inclined household, honing his skills in multiple bands. Together, they have crafted a distinctive sound that resonates with listeners of all kinds.

Since their debut EP, Took A While, Neil Frances has been steadily building a dedicated fan base. Their psychedelic rhythms, infectious grooves, and raw, funky spirit have garnered them opportunities to perform alongside established acts such as Jungle, SG Lewis, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. With a string of single releases, remixes, and notable collaborations, Neil Frances has proven their adaptability in the ever-evolving pop landscape.

In 2022, Neil Frances released their highly anticipated debut LP, There Is No Neil Frances. The album showcased the duo’s undeniable groove and sunny outlook grounded in realness. It loosely tells the story of an insect aspiring to find its place in a utopian dreamscape, an experience best appreciated at a Neil Frances gig or in an intimate, atmospheric setting.
