Fresh from reopening its doors after a devastating fire last year, the beloved bright pink rooftop bar Sweet Cheeks Cocktail & Dessert Lounge is running a boutique festival devoted entirely to the delicious possibilities of espresso, vodka and coffee liqueur.

Running from Thursday, March 31 to Sunday, April 3 at the venue, the festival will be showcasing a huge variety of this caffeine-loaded, boozy beverage. Expect the classic version (a concoction of vodka, Kahlua and coffee), all the way through to indulgent flavoursome adventures, created especially for this delicious event. We’re thinking (hoping) recipes will include caramel, mint, maybe coconut… the options are endless.
Known for their to-die-for desserts, Sweet Cheeks will also have espresso flavoured desserts on offer to compliment your favourite coffee cocktail. Plus, there will be drink specials and more running throughout the four-day festival and an epic playlist to throw down vibes throughout the day. Of course, you’ll find other spirits, wine and icy cold beers for those of you that don’t like the coffee beverage of our dreams.
Not only a sugar lovers’ paradise, but Sweet Cheeks has also become renowned as the most Insta-worthy venue in the Geelong region, with a striking interior and exterior that gives you the feeling you’ve stepped into a pink-tinged city-oasis. Pair that with an espresso martini (or five), and this my friend is an absolutely unmissable spot for a night out.
