In a regular lifetime, our friends at Yours & Owls would be revealing their dates for the October long weekend alongside their wildly-diverse line-up that would once again to the green, green grass of Stuart Park for the seventh consecutive year.
But we’re living in the time of global pandemic… so instead Yours & Owls Festival – who have cemented their place as a ‘must-attend’ event on the national festival calendar – have decided to move their dates to January 23 and 24 next year to allow a more realistic chance of the festival going ahead.
Essentially you will still get Yours & Owls 2020, just four months later. I’d say that’s a win.
“We are conscious of the costs that come along with planning to attend our festival and the amount of organisation you all put in to come and spend the weekend with us. We want to ensure we plan the festival at a date that gives it the best chance of actually happening,” the organisers said in a statement.
“With the current situation we are all in, we don’t feel in anyway confident that will be a possibility in early October. So, book it in kids, we can’t wait to see you all back at Stuart Park in the Gong shakin’ your booty to Australia’s finest whilst soaking up the ocean air!”
The line-up is locked and loaded, and will be dropping soon.
