Plant Addicts Anonymous are running a huge pop-up plant sale this weekend

Even those without a green thumb can appreciate the beauty of houseplants – and if you’re one of those people and you’re looking to bring some life into your home, or you’re a plant addict and you’re looking to add to your collection, this is a post for you.

Geelong-based green thumbs ‘Plant Addicts Anonymous’ are packing the truck and bringing their indoor-plant party to Newtown this weekend.

Renowned for running pop-up indoor plant sales, Plant Addicts Anonymous are all about embracing the love of indoor plants, allowing you to fill your home with new green babies. Having plants around makes everything feel lighter, brighter, and more alive so its never been more important to create a healthy environment at home whilst we’re still working from home.

At the sale, we expect you’ll find dozens of lush, desirable plants, potentially including the likes of fiddle leaf figs, devils ivy, alocasia, mother in law’s tongue, string of pearls, bangalow palms, kentia palms, a range of ferns, hanging plants and more.

Shoppers can also expect horticulture advice on site if needed and lots of gorgeous pots available to go along with your new leafy additions. It’s also dog friendly so you can pop in after grabbing a coffee on Pako with your pooch.

This event will adhere to strict social distancing guidelines with 20 customers allowed at a time so just be cautious if you’re on a time limit. Plant handling is also requested to be at a minimum, Eftpos will be available, and they team will provide hand sanitiser upon entering the event.

The event will pop up at 14 Riversdale Road, Newtown on Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7 from 9am-4pm. Make sure to follow Plant Addicts Anonymous on Instagram and Facebook to keep updated of the rarer plants that will be available over the weekend.
