Bringing together everything that can possibly satisfy one’s palate – food, wine, beer and live music – within an immersive landscape, Wine Machine has emerged as a social mainstay within the Australian festival circuit over the last few years.

Providing the perfect backdrop to create memorable moments, the national touring soiree is gearing up to take on a run of East Coast dates this March and April, heading to Hunter Valley NSW, Canberra  ACT and Yarra Valley VIC.

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

Locally, Victorians will soak up the atmosphere and natural amphitheatre at Rochford Wines in Yarra Valley on Saturday 1 April, with the festival kicking off at 1pm and the final act closing out the stage at 10pm. Just an hour drive from Melbourne CBD, the world-famous winery is one of the country’s most spectacular outdoor concert venues simply made for hosting Australia’s premium, bespoke, winery party Wine Machine, with tickets on sale now from IWannaTicket

Hot Dub Time Machine

Leading the lineup is the return of international festival sensation Hot Dub Time Machine, who’ll be bringing his time entangling, party antics once again to the wine aficionados of Australia.

Since first launching his time-travelling, ‘dance-through-the-decades’ audio-visual party concept a decade ago, Sydney’s Tom Lowndes has grown Hot Dub Time Machine into an absolute monster. The Australian DJ – who showcases songs from every decade and genre of music, weaving it into one expansive, electrifying, music history lesson – has been welcomed by international audiences with open arms, with a phenomenal 200,000 tickets already sold worldwide.

For his appearance at Wine Machine, Lowndes will be bringing his blistering new Rave Machine show to the stage, featuring over 100 classic bangers on four decks in an epic and wild journey through dance music history. From The Prodigy to Fisher, Faithless to Flume and Daft Punk to Darude, this will be the ultimate dance party, celebrating fun times, togetherness and the unbridled joy of dancing!

Lime Cordiale

After scoring four times in the Hottest 100 (‘Facts of Life’ at #15, ‘Colin’ at #34, ‘Country Club’ at #60 and ‘Holy Moley’ with Idris Elba at #93), Lime Cordiale will bring their suave grooves to incredible winery surroundings.

The appearance for the Sydney brothers, Louis and Oli Leimbach, follows a stacked 2022 with an ARIA nomination for Best Video for their single ‘Apple Crumble’, headline Australian tours which saw them perform to 34,000 Australian fans on the 14 Steps to A Better You and Facts of Life tours, alongside festival sets at Groovin the Moo, NYE in the Park and more, alongside the release of aforementioned singles which will all feature on the band’s upcoming third studio album.

Amassing over 350 million streams on Spotify, 29 million Apple Music streams, with YouTube views exceeding 20 million, the beloved brothers’ festival set will feature all their hits plus new songs and a few surprises, rounded out by their infectious attitude and genuine, generous interactions with their fans.

Vera Blue

Revered as one of Australian music’s most respected and diverse acts, Sydney pop powerhouse Vera Blue is well known as a festival show-stopper.

Since first emerging into the music scene as Celia Pavey, a contestant on The Voice Australia in 2013, Vera Blue has gone from strength to strength in the last decade, transforming from a gifted folk singer/songwriter into the electro-pop powerhouse she is today. It began with the release of her heartbreaking yet artistically progressive, rapturously received debut album ‘Perennial’, which spawned the release of the anthem ‘Lady Powers’, ‘Regular Touch’ and ‘Mended’ and saw Vera play five completely sold-out Australian tours, European/UK and USA dates, and multiple festivals including Lollapalooza and Splendour in the Grass.

Consistently capturing the hearts of music lovers, her performance at Wine Machine comes off the back of the release of her highly anticipated second album Mercurial. What began life as a means of healing and therapy, harnessing the raw emotion of her past and the confidence of her future, Vera Blue has created an album that is equally visceral, messy, and beautiful. You’ll be able to hear for yourself in the flesh with Vera Blue’s soaring vocals and captivating live show this April.

Northeast Party House

With their first new music of 2023 imminent, Melbourne six-piece Northeast Party House also join the ranks at Wine Machine this year.

With their new single ‘Brain Freeze’ due for release this month, the certified banger stands as the alternative dance outfit’s first release since 2022’s triple j’s Hottest 200 single ‘Cranky Boy’ and marks the beginning of a huge year for the band.

Renowned for their electric live show, Wine Machine will be the first chance to see new single ‘Brain Freeze’ performed live ahead of the band’s official tour in May, plus punters will also get to dance the night away to iconic tracks from the band’s extensive back catalogue such as ‘Calypso Beach’, ‘Magnify’, ‘Dominos’ and last year’s dance floor filler ‘Cranky Boy’.

Big vibes and a big yes from us!

Bliss N Eso

One of the country’s finest hip hop acts, Bliss n Eso will be bringing the heat to the autumn festival. With seven studio albums and over thirty released singles, there’ll be no shortage of hits, cult classics and fan favourites as the trio hits the stage. Think the likes of ‘Act Your Age’, ‘Addicted’, ‘Moments’, ‘My Life’, ‘Party At My Place’, ‘The Sea Is Rising’, ‘Dopamine’, ‘Golden Years’, ‘Send It’, ‘Get Your Boof On’, ‘The Prophecy’, ‘Daddy’s Caddy’, ‘Lighthouse’, ‘Good People’, ‘Happy In My Hoody’, ‘House Of Dreams’ and countless more…

Renowned for their captivating live performances and boisterous energy, the Sydney hip hop heavyweights are a perfect addition to the Wine Machine extravaganza.

Alongside these legends of the industry, rounding out the lineup is KLP who will keep the party going and Grentperez, whose smooth grooves will sooth. How’s that for a lineup? And at a winery? You just can’t make this stuff up!

Jimi The Kween

Alongside the live music, your hostess with the mostest Jimi the Kween, will serve up a stack of fierce drag madness and mesmerising moments. The best part is that the single-stage format ensures you won’t miss a thing.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a wine festival without being accompanied by the best gourmet local fare and wine pairings the regions can offer.

Indulge in some of the finest locally sourced produce as you enjoy everything Wine Machine has to offer, including art installations, garden games, pop-up bars, gourmet delights and long table lunches at Wine Machine’s Cellar Door.
