If you're looking for the perfect place to catch all the action, look no further.

As the countdown to the Super Bowl begins, football fans across the region are gearing up for one of the biggest sporting events of the year. With the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers in an epic showdown at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Monday, February 12th, the excitement is palpable.

For those in it for the iconic halftime show, R&B legend Usher will take centre stage at Allegiant Stadium around 12pm (AEDT) for the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show.

Here’s a guide to the best spots in Geelong and Melbourne to watch the Super Bowl and soak up the game day atmosphere.

Marvel Stadium – Free Live Site

Known for its vibrant atmosphere and multiple screens, The Sporting Globe is a top spot to catch the Super Bowl action. With delicious pub grub and an extensive drinks menu, you can settle in for the game in style.

Of course, Melbourne’s Official TAB Super Bowl Party will be taking place for the 14th year running. From 8am, expect to find flowing ice-cold Coors, red hot buffalo wings and every punt, first down and conversion LIVE & LOUD on over 50 screens. Punters will be able to choose between Premium VIP Booths ($69), Restaurant seating ($10) & End Zone GA tickets (free).

The Deck

Since its killer makeover a couple of years ago, The Deck on Gheringhap Street has quickly become a favourite amongst locals looking for a cold beer, quality meal and decent tunes to see them through the week.

Known to host one helluva party, the crew at The Deck are getting in on the Super Bowl action with the game live outdoors on the big screen. Doors open from 9am, with $10 CC Dry Schooners and beer buckets. There’s also wings, ribs, wedges, burgers and nachos on offer throughout the day.

College Lawn Hotel

The Local

The Wharf Hotel

Village Belle Hotel

Village Belle Hotel in St Kilda is an all-purpose venue with a rich history dating back to 1891.

Come Monday, and punters will be able to see every minute of the game live and loud on the big screen while all-American style food and American beers will be available throughout the day.

The Hawthorn Hotel

Established in 1855, The Hawthorn Hotel is a popular venue that combines contemporary bar, resturant and function facilities with the relaexed and friendly atmosphere of a traditional pub.

Expect to find food and drinks specials all morning while the Super Bowl LVIII is played on the big screens. Guests can also win an American Jersey by guessing the winning score.

The Newmarket Hotel is a trendy eatery with striking concrete arches and a beer garden, for wood-fired pizzas and delicious pub fare.

Richmond Club Hotel

Harlow

Located in Richmond, Harlow is the perfect destination to enjoy all of the Super Bowl action on plenty of screens. This destination is a good-times-charged, all occasions Richmond bar with classic pub eats & drinks, now with a brand new Rooftop.

Guests can fuel up with dishes like cheesy fries and hamburgers, everything a true American would be proud of, and keep refreshed with Furphy specials. Groups of 20 or more get a Budweiser on arrival and all the American classics re-envisioned as canapes for $50pp.

The game will officially begin at 10:30am (AEDT). Kayo and ESPN will cover pre and post-game, with the likes of Chris Fowler, Dan Orlovsky, and Louis Riddick calling the game exclusively inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Otherwise, Channel 7 (7mate or 7Plus) will have free-to-air coverage from 9:00am (AEDT).
