There are certain things in life that are just shitter than others. We got musician Alex Lahey to give us a run down of the “A-Grade” and “B-Grade” in her life in honor of her new release, B-Grade University.
A-GRADE
-Really, really nice bread with butter
-Josie and the Pussycats in all its forms
-When the person you’re talking to gets your super obscure Simpson’s reference and you realise you’re going to be friends for life
-Cuddles
-Waking up before your alarm goes off and being stoked about having more time to snooze
B-GRADE
-Not backing up your computer before it crashes – we’ve all been there
-Eating a burrito and it falling apart when you get close to the end, which we all know is the best bit
-Forgetting about the cup of tea you made an hour ago and finding it stone cold next to you
-Buying a record and the one track you’re really excited to listen to being scratched/warped
-“Buffering”

Alex is set to perform alongside The Jezabels tonight at the Wool Exchange, Geelong. Tickets are still on sale here.
