Tim Guy to Play Martians Cafe

High school is the place where bands begin, and such was the case for Tim Guy.

The point of difference is that he had already been to ten different schools in wildly different parts of Australia. In October 2015, Tim released his fifth album, Chords. The album features drums from Gus Franklin (Architecture in Helsinki, The Smallgoods) and bassist/synth-player Shags Chamberlain (Ariel Pink, Lost Animal).

Tim: “Gus and Shags happen to be old high school pals of each other and have been playing together for years, so it was great to be cutting tracks as a three-piece in the studio with those guys. There’s a lot of love between them, and a lot of vibe.”

Martians Café, Deans Marsh – April 23.
