Tidal Looks at Collaborations

If you haven’t heard of Tidal yet, it is the first subscription-based music streaming service with high fidelity sound quality.

In other words, kinda like Spotify but with (supposedly) better quality. In one year they hit three million subscribers, and the news is that they now have started negotiating with movie industry executives for collaborations.

With artists like Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Madonna and Beyoncé signed with their service, one of their goals is to make film that will be exclusive for Tidal – focusing on the artists, featuring both original content and acquired films. Full length videos of Queen B? That is definitely a reason to subscribe.
