Bless you, Cups Canteen.
Saturday morning just got a whole lot more epic. Mount Duneed cafe/Kombi Cups Canteen is celebrating the Christmas and the ‘pay it forward’ movement by slinging free cups of coffee.
Thanks to the legends at Armstrong Mt Duneed, a community between Geelong & the Surf Coast by Australia’s premier residential developer, Villawood Properties, Cups Canteen has 150 free cups of Surf Coast Coffee Roasters Coffee to giveaway.
The coffee, paid forward by Armstrong Mt Duneed, is all about spreading that Christmas cheer and will be available to the first 150 people to head on down for their caffeine hit. It’s one drink per customer – whether that be a cappuccino, skinny latter or long black. The only catch is customers have to be present to collect, so, unfortunately, that means you won’t be able to bring one back for your housemate who’s still in bed.
As always with these types of giveaways, it’s first-in best-dressed – and they open from 7am! If this doesn’t put a spring in your step Saturday morning, I don’t know what will.
If you haven’t heard of them, Cups Canteen is one of newest and trendiest coffee stop to grace our region thanks to Geelong’s Craig and Steph Willian. Operating out of a vintage Kombi injected with a fresh and modern take on bohemian style, Cups Canteen has quickly become Mount Duneed’s most wholesome purveyors of damn fine cups of coffee, parked daily at the corner of Boundary Road and Sovereign Drive.
Operating Wednesday to Friday 6am – 2pm and Saturday and Sunday from 7am – 2pm, you’ll find Cups Canteen and their vintage Kombi slinging Surf Coast Coffee Roasters Coffee, black and herbal teas, hot choccies, and the very best homemade sweets – delights guaranteed to be a welcomed addition to the region’s tranquil outer suburbs.
Find them at the corner of Boundary Road and Sovereign Drive in Mount Duneed from 7am Saturday for your free cuppa! Keep up to date via Instagram.
