This cosy Italian gem is now doing bottomless vegan and gluten-free gnocchi on Sundays

Buffets have come a very long way since our days with Poseidon, his trident and Salty the Seal, where we’d indulge ourselves in the all-you-can-eat smorgasbord party that was Smorgys (RIP). Now we’re blessed with a bunch of delicious eateries putting on bottomless events, from all-you-can-eat bao to those mid-morning bottomless brunches.

The good humans over at Mamma’s Boy Trattoria in Melbourne have jumped on the trend in recent times with their famed bottomless gnocchi and free-flowing cocktails. The experience has been so popular that the cosy Italian gem has now increased the offering to include vegan and gluten-free options.

Challenging gnocchi-lovers for $69 per person, customers can indulge in a two-hour all-you-can-eat feast every Sunday with a choice of any (or all) of three sauces on offer, delicious home made garlic bread and a selection of free-flowing cocktails.

The three sauces on offer includes slow cooked lamb ragu, Napoli sauce with Fior di Latte (V or VG) or truffle mushroom and spinach (V or VG).

Alongside the endless bowls of the soft, handmade potato, the free-flowing cocktails on offer include a rotating spritz menu,  tropical punch jugs and mojito jugs.

Gnocchi fans are encouraged to bring their friends to enjoy this hearty experience and to try all the deliciously saucy gnocchi dishes available for lunch or dinner every Sunday at 11.30am, 2pm, 5pm or 7.30pm.
