Whether you’re a seasoned musician, a passionate venue owner, a dedicated supporter of local talent, or simply someone who appreciates the transformative power of music, this event is tailored to accommodate your perspectives and aspirations.

The forum, hosted by the City of Greater Geelong in collaboration with the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth within Geelong’s vibrant music sector. Attendees can expect an interactive session conducive to networking with fellow community members, council representatives, and industry stakeholders.

Mayor Trent Sullivan, alongside Una McAlinden and Bridie Coughlin, will be present, underscoring the council’s commitment to the development and sustenance of Geelong’s cultural fabric. Additionally, Mick Ryan, clutching a yellow bass guitar, will add musical flair to the proceedings, symbolising the integral role of musicians in shaping the city’s identity.

As part of the broader Live and Local Program, this forum serves as a platform for envisioning a future where live music thrives as a cornerstone of Greater Geelong’s cultural landscape.

Attendance is free, with light refreshments provided. Secure your spot by registering here and join the chorus in shaping the future of live music in Greater Geelong.
