With a new year means a new theatre season and GPAC is already delivering. First cab off the rank is Every Brilliant Thing (February 23-27), a show exploring depression and the lengths we’ll go to for the ones we love. It’s uplifting, has received rave reviews and comes from acclaimed seasons in Edinburgh and New York.
The next show, 4000 Miles (March 2-5), tells the tale of an unexpected exchange between 21-year-old Leo and his Jewish 91-year-old grandmother after breaking up with his girlfriend. The story looks at two completely different aspect of life: from someone trying to begin theirs and the other trying to forget.
