The 25th Queenscliff Music Festival just got bigger!

In the lead-up to the November festival, Queenscliff Music Festival has just announced The Slingers are set to join the already impressive 2023 festival lineup.

Locked in to take the stage on Sunday 26 November at the Bellarine festival, The Slingers have cemented themselves as one of the most unique bands of the contemporary Australian underground/alternative scene.

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

Fresh from releasing their debut LP, Sentimentalism, back in July 7 via Flightless Records, the band is now at their peak after five years of eclectic releases and impassioned live performances.

The band persistently defy classification, with a colourful catalogue of releases that span from country to folk, grunge rock to ballad, Australiana to Americana, acoustic and spoken word to electronica. The Slingers signed to Flightless Records in 2020, releasing a double A-Side 7-inch vinyl, The Cruellest Cut and Kind Hearts (a collaboration with legend of the Melbourne underground, Spike Fuck). Their releases have garnered a cult following on Youtube & Spotify, resulting in packed pubs and sold-out crowds all over town.

The Slingers join previously announced acts Frank Turner and his band The Sleeping Souls; Katy Steele, The Merindas, Georgia State Line, Aloe Blacc, G Love & Special Sauce, Foy Vance Boy & Bear , Something For Kate, Illy, Dan Sultan, Liz Stringer, Ian Moss, The Dreggs, Ngulmiya, Alice Ivy, Xylouris White, Mindy Meng Wang x Tim Shiel, Jem Cassar-Daley, Felipe Baldomir, Leah Senior, JAZZPARTY, William Crighton, WILSN, and BEANS, among many others.

The multi award winning, Queenscliff Music Festival will be a four day celebration of live music, family-friendly activities, locally sourced gourmet produce, fine booze and more. Staged on the lands of the Wadawurrung on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula, the festival’s beach setting and picturesque locations attract music lovers from all over looking to soak up the laid back vibes and the eclectic mix of music on offer.

The 25th Queenscliff Music Festival runs across 23 + 24 + 25 + 26 November 2023. Purchase tickets to the Queenscliff Music Festival here
