Marvel have announced that the bad-ass brute The Punisher is next in line to have his story told in a Netflix exclusive series.
The blood-thirsty character was recently featured in season two of fellow Netflix series Daredevil, where Jon Bernthal’s (The Walking Dead) character stole the spotlight. Details about the show are scarce just yet, but Steve Lightfoot of Hannibal is set to take on the role of showrunner and direct the show’s first two episodes. There’s no doubt it’ll be the brooding, violent extravaganza that is expected of the combination.
