Goot en tahk, dear readers, I hope you’re all well. In case you missed the 6 O’Clock news, Geelong outfit The Run have booked their place at the Global Battle of the Bands in Germany after claiming a national victory in Sydney.
The indie pop trio of teens have been together for around 15 months now, after having come together while performing in a production of Guys and Dolls. The Global Battle of the Bands has been running since 2004 and is now held in more than 30 countries.
The Grand Final will be held in Berlin on May 26, with the winner to receive a cool $130,000 (AUS) cash prize, as well as band development. We, of course, want to wish them the very best. Go you good things!
