The Potato Shed 2018 season launched

Melbourne Theatre Company’s Hungry Ghosts; Michael Veitch’s Hell Ship: The Journey of the Ticonderoga; and Hit Production’s Glorious! announced as part of The Potato Shed 2018 Season.

The Potato Shed launched its biggest season yet on December 6 – announcing 12 season shows and a host of community productions and arts events. The packed house was entertained by some stunning live performances and a host of videos promoting the season ahead.

The Acclaimed Australian playwright Hannie Rayson was on hand to introduce her award winning play, Hotel Sorrento along with Aussie actor Kim Denman. Andy Howitt, ex CEO / Director of AusDance VIC previewed Sunshine’s own Sunshine Boy: The Story of Leigh Bowery an new and interesting dance work. Clare St Clare presented an evocative number from Dance Hall, heralding the return to the Potato Shed of cabaret provocateurs, Finucane and Smith.

Which Way Home (Ilbijerri); Rogue Romantic; Madame Butterfly (Melbourne City Ballet); Menopause The Musical – Women on Fire – the diverse programming covers theatre; cabaret; music; community; education; and an extensive school holiday program and the ever popular Morning Showtime.
