In the midst of Australia’s burger craze we’ve witnessed a more quiet, but just as important, dessert revolution with donut and ice cream gems opening all over Melbourne. Joining the scene, once again, is the American giant Haagen Dazs.
After a not so fortunate attempt at establishing themselves in the Australian market in 1991, the ice cream company has decided to give it another go and have already started their marketing campaign with a pop up, sit down location in Melbourne’s Federation Square.
Although Haagen Dazs usually rely on physical sit down stores, the ice cream will only be found on supermarket shelves in Australia, arriving in July or August. Still a winner situation for ice cream lovers.
