Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena has solidified its standing among the global elite of live music venues.

In a resounding victory for Sydney’s live music scene (and Australia’s), Qudos Bank Arena has been named among the world’s elite, securing an impressive position in Billboard’s coveted top ten list of live music venues.

Standing tall as the sole representative from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, Qudos Bank Arena has claimed the 7th position globally in the recently unveiled 2023 year-end box score charts. Notably, this recognition extends to venues with a capacity of 15,000 or more, excluding stadiums.

In the company of some of the world’s most iconic venues such as New York’s Madison Square Garden and London’s O2 Arena, Qudos Bank Arena has outshone the likes of Manchester’s AO Arena and Brooklyn’s Barclays Centre.

During the tracking period from November 2022 to September 2023, the arena recorded an impressive $79.4 million in ticket sales, hosting over 785,000 guests across 75 shows. Steve Hevern, General Manager of Qudos Bank Arena, expressed his pride, saying, “This is a testament to the resilience of the live entertainment industry in the post-Covid era and our team’s professionalism and devotion.”
