The classic story of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is probably his most popular work and the Melbourne City Ballet are bringing you the newest telling of the story.
We all know the story: boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, their love is forbidden, which then leads to a series of tragic events. Still, it is something else to see it “live”, in front of you, instead of reading it or watching it on TV. Bringing it to life through choreography by Michael Pappalardo, the Melbourne City Ballet will be showing this raw production at the Potato Shed from July 8 onwards, so make sure you don’t miss out.
