Earlier this year, a representative of the Australian Drug Law Reform Foundation Alex Wodak and Canberra doctor David Caldicott, stated they would begin trialling pill-testing outside festivals in Sydney whether they had the support of the police or not (they didn’t).
Now there have reportedly been talks with senior members of both the police and the government outside of NSW and both parties have been supportive of the idea. Plans for implementing the controversial testing facilities during this coming festival season across the country are soon to be proposed in an effort to gain full backing across the nation.
