The festival’s iconic paddlesteamer sideshows will also return in 2024. In partnership with Echuca Paddlesteamers, Riverboats will offer a series of intimate sideshows aboard the historic PS Pevensey. The only festival in Australia to offer this experience, this year’s paddlesteamer sideshows will feature performances by First Nation’s artist Kee’ahn alongside Minor Gold, JAZZPARTY and Sweet Talk.

Situated in the historic town of Echuca-Moama just two-and-a-half hours drive north of Melbourne, the beloved festival is thrilled to be returning home to Aquatic Reserve after being forced to temporarily relocate in 2023 due to flooding. The 12th instalment of Riverboats will be staged across three splendid summer days in the natural riverside amphitheatre under gorgeous river red gums.

The family-friendly event arrives at the tail end of what’s set to be a bumper tourist season for the twin towns. With a range of accommodation options available across the region from motels to holiday parks, punters are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
