Queenscliff Music Festival Annual Fundraiser

Try to believe, though the going gets rough, that you gotta hang tough to make it. History repeats itself, try and you’ll succeed. Never doubt that you’re the one and you can have your dreams. You’re the best! Around! Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down.

The Queenscliff Music Festival is thrilled to present its annual fundraiser, Best of the Fest, a night of Latin, soul, funk and disco with Kylie Auldist, Quarter Street, The Meltdown and DJ Vince Peach.

The leading lady for The Bamboos, Kylie Auldist has drawn comparisons to Diana Ross and Sharon Jones. Moving from Broken Hill to Melbourne, the soul songstress has released three solo albums, with a fourth, Family Tree, to follow in July. Formed in 2011, Melbourne’s Quarter Street drop “heavy duty salsa Latin bombs” inspired by the raw sounds of 1970’s New York.

The Meltdown are a little bit soul, a little bit jazz and a little bit country – they’re also the purveyors of radioactive gospel. Point Lonsdale School Hall – July 16. As for the QMF, that takes place across November 25, 26 & 27.

Early bird tickets are selling fast. Hit up qmf.net.au for everything you need to know about the festival.
