The Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition will provide an intimate look at Diana’s life, as seen through the lens of her Official Royal Photographer, Anwar Hussein. This unique perspective delves deep into the personal relationship between a princess and her photographer, exploring the delicate balance between intimacy and distance, and revealing all facets of Diana’s captivating persona.

Already hailed as one of the “Top 12 Immersive Experiences Around the World You Need to Visit” by CNN, this exhibition has already seen sold-out shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, and Puerto Rico. Since its launch in 2021, it has become a fan-favourite event, earning recognition in People Magazine, Access Hollywood, and the LA Times, along with an impressive guest rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars.

For the first time in Australia, Anwar Hussein, along with his sons Samir and Zak, will provide firsthand accounts of the stories behind Princess Diana’s world-famous moments and her family through a comprehensive audio guide.

Accredited by the Royal Family, the Hussein family constitutes the longest-standing Official Royal Photographers, with a combined experience of over four decades working closely with the iconic Princess and her family. They were granted unique access to document the Royals both in public appearances and during more intimate, private moments.

Anwar is renowned for reshaping public perceptions of the Royal Family through his focus on candid photographs that capture the humanity of his subjects, moving away from the historically formal portrait style. Following in their father’s footsteps, Samir and Zak have continued the legacy by capturing the lives of Diana’s sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, earning themselves multiple awards and a reputation as renowned photographers.

Visitors to the Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition will embark on a captivating journey through various themed sections, including The Photography Dark Room, Growing, Glam, Hats & Tiaras, Art Installations, Humanitarian, and Unguarded. The exhibition provides a documentary-style exploration of Diana’s introduction to and reinvention of Royal life, offering intimate, first-hand narratives and authentic, original images that transport visitors back in time.

The exhibition will also feature unique art installations specially created for the event by the multimedia artist Pauline Loctin, alongside engaging photo opportunities for visitors to capture their memorable experience.

A family-friendly experience, the Princess Diana: Accredited Access Exhibition will open its doors to the public on Friday, 17 November 2023, with sessions available at various times throughout the week.
