Pond to play regionally in 2025

The Perth psychedelics add to their three festival appearances in their new year.

‘Daisy’ delights, Pond are heading regional to kick off 2025.

The Perth psychedelic rockers are gearing up to play three festivals in the New Year, starting at Party in the Paddock in Launceston Tasmania, jumping up to Wollongong for the annual Yours and Owls celebrations and bouncing back down to Bambra in Victoria to coheadline Meadow Festival alongside Hiatus Kaiyote. In between the five-piece will be taking to regional stages in Margaret River, Bunbury, Maroochydore, Byron Bay, Newcastle, Canberra, Barwon Heads and Castlemaine.

  • 13 February 2025 – The River, Margaret River, WA
  • 14 February 2025 – Froth Craft Brewery, Bunbury, WA
  • 21 February 2025 – Sol Bar, Maroochydore, QLD
  • 22 February 2025 – Beach Hotel, Byron Bay, NSW
  • 27 February 2025 – King Street Bandroom, Newcastle NSW
  • 28 February 2025 – The Baso, Canberra, ACT
  • 1 March 2025 – Yours and Owls Festival, Wollongong, NSW
  • 21 March 2025 – Barwon Heads Hotel, Barwon Heads, VIC
  • 22 March 2025 – Meadow Festival, Bambra, VIC
  • 23 March 2025 – Theatre Royal, Castlemaine, VIC

The top of the year saw the band tour Australia and New Zealand with quintessential rockers Queens of the Stone Age. This regional run extends on this years June and July capital city tour which included a stop in to play VIVID, whilst the Splendour in the Grass appearance was cancelled.

The tour came in celebration of their tenth studio album Stung! which dropped this year via Spinning Top Records. With lead singles ‘Neon River’, ‘(I’m) Stung’ and ‘So Lo’ leading the charge, Stung! received critical success and praise from industry figureheads adding to an exciting year for the band.

2025 is bound to continue the bands continued success running almost two decades after their inception.
