Pivot City Artisan Christmas Market is bringing together some of the finest local makers to give you a chance to get some amazing Christmas presents (or just to treat yourself!)
As soon as the year clocks over to December, then you know it’s time to get serious about your Christmas shopping.
To serve as your final nudge to get into gear, the brand new Pivot City Artisan Christmas Market will be a must-visit to stock up on plenty of jewellery, homewares and more to fill those stockings at home.

Hosted by Runway, the Pivot City Artisan Christmas Market will take place on Friday, December 9 from 4pm to 7pm, taking over the space at West 6, 33 Mackey Street in North Geelong.
Providing the opportunity to avoid the stress of those online delivery cutoffs by shopping small and local, the market will feature 15+ incredible local designers and makers, live music, and drinks to purchase.
Sitting somewhere between an artisan market and a Christmas celebration (Aka Friday knock offs), the team at Runway have hand selected a small range of local designers and makers to help you with your Christmas shopping, and whilst your doing so, listen to the dulcet tones of Noah Vernon, sip away on Anther Distilleries specially designed Christmas drink for the occasion, and try some fantastic local beers for free with thanks to Valhalla Brewing.
Alongside all of that that, there will even be free canapes for you to eat as you roam, listen, and drink! It’s certainly sounding like one of the best markets this region has ever seen.
As for the makers on board, you can expect to browse stalls from the likes of Elizabeth Bell Ceramics, Great Ocean Road Woolen Mill, Lisa Nolan Art, Artisan Culture PNG, Kosalii -Hand made and lino printed leather goods, Margot and Montanez, Zero Plastics Australia, Frank n Al Chai, House of Sam / War on Waste Cartel, Kissy Jewellery, Baking Bliss, Cohen Luxe, Kokoro Expressions, Beetanicals and The Curious Cabinet. Of course, stalls from the aforementioned Anther Distillery and Valhalla Brewing will also be there.

“The market is intended to be both an artisan fair and a Christmas celebration,” Runway explain.
We will have free beer tasting from Valhalla Brewing, as well as free canapes/food provided by the Hamilton Group. We’re really encouraging people to come down after work on the Friday for some festive fun and to support local makers.”
On the night, Runway will also be collecting toys or donations to support a Elf Squad Geelong, whose sole purpose is to help local children smile this Christmas. Be it large or small, any toy donation will be greatly received. You will also be able to purchase raffle tickets for a $1000 clothing voucher from the amazing Ena Pelly.
