We've officially been belting out 'Mr. Brightside' for 20 years with The Killers debut defining album Hot Fuss being celebrated this November/December in Australia.
‘Somebody Told Me’, ‘Jenny Was A Friend of Mine’, ‘Smile Like You Mean It’, ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’; Hot Fuss is an album that catapulted Nevada, Vegas indie rockers The Killers to fame. Years later the hits continued and culminated on the compilation album Rebel Diamonds including the likes of ‘When You Were Young’, ‘Human’, ‘Spaceman’, ‘Runaways’, ‘The Man’ and ‘My Own Soul’s Warning’. These two albums get their time to shine this November and December as The Killers return to Australia.
Split across stadium shows, The Killers will play Rebel Diamond in Townsville on Saturday 30 November, Sydney on Friday 6 December, Brisbane on Monday 9 December and Melbourne on Thursday 12 December, with Hot Fuss getting the full-play treatment on Saturday 7 December in Sydney and Friday 13 December in Melbourne.

No strangers to our shores, The Killers have been firmly adopted as favourite sons of Australia, even performing a universally acclaimed set at the AFL Grand Final in 2017 with a showstopping performance. They most recently released new single Bright Lights, a track lauded by Rolling Stone as ‘anthemic’ and by NME as ‘euphoric’. The band have been performing the new single at their Hot Fuss sold out residency in their hometown of Las Vegas this past month to widespread accolades.
Across seven albums, not including their to be announced eighth, The Killers ignited the indie rock scene, driving rock and roll back to the forefront both thanks to their outstanding collection of tracks but also for their charismatic, high-energy live shows which sees frontman Brandon Flowers take on the showman role. Their appearance at A Day On The Green for Mt Duneed in 2022 proved their status and staying power.
