‘People Like Us’ is an exhibition curated by UNSW Galleries Director Felicity Fenner, touring to 14 venues across Australia in 2016-2019 and on June 18 it is coming to Geelong Gallery.
The exhibition is capturing universal aspects of the contemporary human condition in film, animation, digital and interactive art with real human experience underpinning the exhibition. ‘People Like Us’ also reveals the array of experimental technologies used by artists as they comment on issues confronting us in the 21st century through a collection of recent new media works by Australian and international practitioners. The exhibition is free, so there are no excuses not to attend!
