As this issue of this little magazine was being put together, Eurovision 2016 kicked off in magnificent style – and as we know, Dami Im is carrying the Australian flag. Godspeed, Dami!
You may also be aware that the singer songwriter has lined up an extensive tour in support of her new album, Classic Carpenters. Yep, that would be Dami’s homage to one of her idols, the late Karen Carpenter.
The show will feature Carpenter favourites including ‘There’s a Kind of Hush’, ‘Close to You’, ‘Rainy Days and Mondays’ and ‘A Song for You’, as well as Dami’s own hit singles.
Costa Hall @ GPAC – July 2. Heading towards the end of the year, Dami will perform at Bendigo’s Capital Theatre on November 18.
