Missy Higgins extends The Second Act Tour 2024 with eight new shows

“The Second Act Tour” promises to be a special journey for both the artist and her fans. Not only will Missy be performing “The Sound Of White” in its entirety for the first time ever, but she will also be treating audiences to a preview of tracks from her upcoming album, expected later this year. Described as “a kind of sequel” to her debut, this new material promises to captivate listeners with its raw emotion and introspective lyricism.

The lead single from the forthcoming album, “You Should Run,” is already out via EMI Music Australia. The song, which Missy describes as intensely personal, showcases her talent as both a songwriter and a performer. Produced, engineered, and performed entirely by Missy herself in her own home, “You Should Run” sets the tone for what fans can expect from her latest musical offering.

Presale tickets for Missy Higgins’ encore shows will be available to Frontier Members starting from Tuesday 27 February at 12 noon local time, with general ticket sales opening on Thursday 29 February at 12 noon local time via frontiertouring.com/missyhiggins.

In addition to the tour, fans can also look forward to a deluxe anniversary reissue of “The Sound Of White” on double CD and LP, which is available for pre-order now via www.missyhiggins.com.
