With the weather cooling down, Mexican restaurant Guzman y Gomez is turning up the heat, bringing the fresh, colourful, spicy Mexican flavours we all love to Geelong later this year.
The popular Mexican fast-food chain is set to open its newest location in Leopold, just outside of Geelong. Opening up at the Gateway Plaza on the Bellarine Highway, the new restaurant will offer locals a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine, including tacos, burritos, nachos, and more.

Due to open mid-year (we’ll have an exact date for you all soon), the Leopold location will feature a vibrant and colourful interior, with Mexican-inspired decor that creates a festive and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant will also feature a drive-thru, gifting the region the first – and highly anticipated – Mexican drive-thru restaurant! Olé!

Known for its commitment to fresh and high-quality ingredients, with a focus on sustainable and ethical sourcing, the restaurant’s menu is packed full of vibrant and delicious Mexican options. There are burritos, burrito bowls, $3 tacos, nachos, nacho fries, Cali burritos (filled with skin-on fries!), quesadillas, enchiladas, salads and a bunch of kids items.
There’s also a variety of options for vegetarians and vegans, as well as gluten-free and low-carb options.
