Melbourne Music Bank Need Your Help

There are times in life when you have to make a decision. Deciding between skim and full cream milk, what to have for dinner or whether you want to risk the parking fine to pick yourself up a sausage roll, but they’re all quite trivial when you think about helping decide who wins the next Melbourne Music Bank competition.
Wind the clock back to July and Melbourne Music Bank asked Victorian musicians and bands to enter an original song for the chance to win a life changing prize pack. This year’s tool kit includes;
two days of recording at Melbourne’s famous Sing Sing studios, a film clip by Oh Yeah Wow, album artwork, printed CDs and the chance of having the winning song featured in a Bank of Melbourne TV ad. As well as the services of a dedicated A-team of the industry’s finest including management and mentoring by Chris Robinson, publicity by On The Map PR, radio plugging by Varrasso PR and gig bookings by 123 Agency.
Several weeks later and 12 finalists have been decided; that’s where you come in. The final four will be chosen by public vote (which you can do so via the website:
http://webapps.bankofmelbourne.com.au/melbmusicbank/) who will then go on to perform at the Arts Centre in Melbourne on October 8 with the overall winner to be decided by a panel of industry experts.
The twelve finalists span genres including indie folk, pop, hip-hop, alt rock and electro. Demonstrating this diversity and the quality of talent coming from all regions of Victoria, our twelve finalists are: Anna Cordell from Ivanhoe, Arctic Maps from Preston, DL Music from Narre Warren, Feelds from Alphington, Imogen Brough from Geelong, Jade Alice from Viewbank, Kudzai from Narre Warren, Milo from Breamlea, Napier from Essendon, Playwrite from Northcote, Sam O’Connell from Mt Martha and Sarah May from Bonnie Doon.
Voting is open until September 27 and even voters can enjoy in some weekly prizes including Spotify vouchers and ticket giveaways.
