We’ve all been exposed to depression one way or another, whether it’s been personally or through a loved one. Nathan Storer is a local guy from Geelong who’s decided from his experiences to do something to give back in order to help spread the word of beyondblue – a charity organisation for depression.
“The more people that know about beyondblue, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family,” he says on his fundraising site.
Starting the walk in Bendigo on Monday, September 19 (the walk was originally scheduled for May), Nathan plans to walk the 175km back home to Geelong by Friday, September 23 – all the while raising funds for beyondblue.
Nathan is currently on his last legs of the walk, with the goal to raise $10,000 to donate right back to the organisation.
