The South Geelong brewery has reopened following a major internal renovation.
Geelong’s original brewhouse and one of Australia’s most celebrated craft brewers, Little Creatures have unveiled their major venue upgrades. Having reopened with a big reveal party on Friday 29 November, the Valley Worsted Mills brewery home underwent a massive 12-week makeover, funnelling $4 million into the project.

The upgrades include a $3 million enhancement of the brewing capabilities with a newly introduced ready-to-drink (RTD) production to accompany the existing craft brewing operations. An additional $1 million was invested in the redesign of the Canteen area, upgrading the hospitality space boasting a new layout, a new tap bar, revised and improved furniture, lighting and decor, and the inclusion of an indoor children’s play castle and shuffle board table. Marrying the historic and industrial features of the mill with modern touches, Little Creatures has elevated their already warm-welcoming atmosphere.
Known as a family-friendly facility and catering to private functions and events, the revitalised vision now allows for the service of over 400 people across their Canteen and expanded outdoor al fresco dining area.
The transformation was spearheaded by an expert in-house design team, led by National Hospitality Operations Manager, Carrie Watson. The project also engaged David Smulders from Dundee Rock, alongside Venue Manager Olivia Hosking and Executive Chef Stephen Shing.
Over the weekend the space was taken over by the Geelong Ceramics Market with a summer series of events to follow.
