Meet Ballarat’s newest restaurant, café and wine bar experience, Eleanora

Words by Staff Writer

Open this week just in time for the Jack White ALWAYS LIVE visit and the festive season, Eleanora is an elevated dining experience in the city.

Whilst we were sad to see Mitchell Harris Wine Bar leave, we are excited to welcome Eleanora into the Doveton Street residence and just in time for the end of year festivities.

The sister to one of Ballarat’s favourite restaurants, Eclectic Tastes Café & Pantry, Eleanora is set to satisfy a massive pool of coffee lovers, elevated diners and wine aficionados.

Eleanora

  • Where: 38 Doveton Street North, Ballarat
  • When: Tues & Wed 7am – 4pm, Thur – Fri 7am – late, Sat 7.30am – late, Sun 8am – late

Keep up with the latest food and booze news across the region here.

Promising beautiful, modern, seasonal food, matching with a selection of the very best Australian wines, Eleanora is passionate about high-quality hospitality with a focus for local. Sourcing regional produce and working with local suppliers, they have set out to feed crowds across the whole day with dedicated breakfast, lunch, afternoon and dining menus.

Expect your eggs and smashed avocado for breakfast, pizzas, sandwiches, salads and spanner crab for lunch, snacks and sharing plates across the afternoon including fresh oysters, fries, prawn cocktails, burgers and cheese boards, and crispy skinned chicken, steak, gnocchi and market fish for dinner. Still peckish? Dive into their dessert menu of crème caramel, tiramisu, Basque cheesecake and affogato to satisfy the sweet tooth. Add a wine pairing and you’re laughing!
