Leura Park are now slinging bottles of premium Shiraz for $20

Red wine and winter go hand in hand. There is nothing better on a cold day than a full-bodied red wine, particularly if it’s matched with a slow-cooked lamb or beef dish. Or a fireplace… or pyjamas, bed and Netflix.

If that sounds right up your alley, you’re in luck. Our good friends at Leura Park have the very best Shiraz to warm your soul this season, and they’ve got them on sale at more than half price!

As part of the Bellarine winery’s massive Barrel Shed Sale showcasing some of The Bellarine’s biggest brands, the team have put their premium Shiraz front and centre from today, offering two of their very best drops for $20.

First there’s the esteemed 2016 Leura Park Estate Shiraz. A medium bodied Shiraz of velvety consistency, you’ll find notes of raspberry, black cherry, satsuma plum, savoury pepper and wood spices.

The second drop is the multiple award-winning Yes Said The Seal Shiraz. This 2016 wine is rich, fragrant and vibrant showcasing red berries, violets and hints of pepper. If the weather is particularly freezing, you will need something a bit bigger and heartier to see you through, this is the wine for you!

These bottles are normally $45 and will be available for that single $20 note only while stocks last.

Alongside these premium wines, wine lovers will be able to browse a vast assortment of premium wines from local favourites including Jack Rabbit Vineyard, Yes said the Seal, Leura Park Estate, Nine Yards and Counting and Cat out of the Bag. You’ll find everything from sparkling to pinot grigio, rose’ to cabernet (and a lot of varietals in between!), as well as rare back vintages, loose bottle stock, beautifully aged vintage 2016 clean skin shiraz – and even tiny 187mL bottles of wine are all in the mix.

Wines on sale are available at Leura Park Estate Cellar Door which is open Monday – Friday 11am – 4pm and Saturday – Sunday 11am – 5pm.
You can find Leura Park Estate at 1400 Portarlington Road, Curlewis or visit the website.
