They may be from Melbourne but ME could be forgiven for forgetting what their old stomping ground looks like given they have called Berlin home for the past few years. Good news for us is that they will be reacquainting themselves with our country in support of their new 7-inch vinyl release, ‘Temple/Angels’. It is their second vinyl release for the year. The band sure knows how to keep busy. Over the last couple of years the band has played a bunch of shows, including festival dates alongside the likes of QOTSA, Smashing Pumpkins and Portishead. They also created and curated their own Berlin-based festival Satisfactory Factory, which they hope to bring to Australia next year. The Karova, Ballarat – May 1.
