Of the tour announcement, Kasey Chambers says, “And now, my favourite part of my ‘life in music’ falls into place…THE LIVE TOUR. In 2025, we will be embarking on the ‘BACKBONE TOUR’ for the first half of the year throughout Australia. Celebrating my new releases Backbone (the album) and Just Don’t Be A Dickhead (the book of profound lessons I’ve learnt through the years), my full band and I will be visiting songs throughout my career that shaped who I am.”

The Backbone tour will showcase the songs and arrangements that combine to make Chambers 13th album of the same title. The album extends from her colourful quarter-of-a-century career, building from her storytelling.

It’s the second way that Chambers has fuelled storytelling this year. The beloved Australian artist released her most ambitious project to date with her book Just Don’t Be A Dickhead…and other profound things I’ve learnt (Hardie Grant Books) which includes a collection of stories and experience gathered up over the years, which has in-turn informed the backbone of Backbone.

Presented by Premier Artists, Essence Music Group, ABC Country and Double J, don’t miss this very special opportunity to join Kasey Chambers as she showcases new material from Backbone for the first time, along with her much loved hits, all masterfully delivered alongside her heartfelt stories . “I can’t wait to be sharing some new songs along with my old favourites, and the stories and secrets behind where they came from, like never before. For me, the BACKBONE TOUR already feels like the live soundtrack to my life.”

Pre-sale stars on Wednesday 25 September at 11am local time, followed by general public sale on Friday 30 September, 11am local time. Grab your tickets via kaseychambers.com
