The music of John Denver continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many. Take Me Home – The Music & Life of John Denver is a tribute to the songwriting great, authorised and by arrangement with John Denver management.
Bevan Gardiner made his ‘Take Me Home’ Australian debut in 2014, though he was previously introduced to local audiences when he supported Charley Pride. The show features all Denver’s favourites, including ‘Take Me Home Country Roads’, ‘Annie’s Song’, ‘Rocky Mountain High’ and ‘Thank God I’m a Country Boy’.
Exclusive film footage of John Denver through his career, his personal life and his love for the environment will also feature. GPAC – March 9.
