It’s International Burger Day, here are some spots to get a good one

One of our favourites things in this world is getting your hands wrapped around a burger, making a mess and finishing the last piece with sticky fingers and a full stomach. Is there anything better? No, no there’s not… And there’s no better day than the International Burger Day on May 28 to do just that.

Here are some places in the region to do just that.

Boss Burger
For those who love a greasy, meaty, cheese-filled, dripping with delicious-goodness burger, Boss Burger Co. has long been a favourite around town. Known for their customisable burgers (think mac & cheese balls and double bacon), the joint kicks ass with their offerings of chicken and beef burgers. If beef is your jam, the ‘Boss’ or the ‘Boss Deluxe’ is a taste of heaven if you like it simple but delicious. Step it up with the Sonny Red, which is packed with beef, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, cheese, jalapenos, ketchup, sriracha mayo and hot sauce. Oooftt. If chicken is more your style, it’s their Tommy the Chook that kicks the burger experience up to the next level. Complete with crunchy, southern fried chicken, cheese, creamy slaw and sriracha mayo, this burger is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
