The legend himself, Ian Moss, is set to ignite the stage in Geelong as part of his epic Rivers Run Dry Tour in 2024, bringing his soulful tunes and unparalleled guitar skills to our city.
Mossy, known for his intuitive and inventive guitar prowess, is not one to slow down. In support of his critically acclaimed album Rivers Run Dry, he’s announced a whopping 29 additional tour dates that will extend the tour until 1 June 2024. One of those dates includes Geelong, at Geelong Arts Centre Story House on Saturday, 24 February. Whether he’s on stage solo with just his guitar and stomp box or backed by his incredible band, you can bet he’ll pour his heart and soul into every note.

National treasure and guitar icon Ian Moss announces acoustic regional tour for 2023
Rivers Run Dry has been hailed as Mossy’s most complete solo album to date, featuring 12 songs and largely recorded over ten days at Rancom St Studios in Sydney. Rivers Run Dry is a musical feast once more displaying Mossy’s well-documented guitar-playing genius and a voice that floats like a butterfly and yet can pack the punch of a Mallee bull. Either way, it is unforgettable.
But that’s not all. Mossy is not only a rock legend but also a mentor to young talents. As part of the 2024 tour, he’s bringing along an impressive lineup of Australian artists, including Raechel Whitchurch, Callum Wylie, Lachlan Edwards, Melody Moko, Dingo (Brandon Dodd), Codee-Lee, and Tullara. These rising stars will join Mossy on various tour dates, promising an unforgettable night of music.
