The Butterfly Effect burst onto the scene with their debut self-titled EP in 2001, quickly gaining recognition as Triple M’s Unsigned Find of 2002. Their ascent continued with the release of ‘Begins Here’ in 2003, which not only led to their first European tour but also catapulted them to the pinnacle of the alternative rock scene. The band’s second album, ‘Imago,’ achieved gold status in just 8 weeks after debuting at number 2 on the ARIA Albums charts in 2006. Subsequently, ‘Final Conversation of Kings’ in 2008 continued their gold streak, debuting at number 3 and showcasing the band’s evolving, more progressive sound.
Despite frontman Clint Boge’s departure in 2012, the band embarked on a well-documented ‘Farewell Tour.’ However, fate had other plans. Reconnecting in 2017, The Butterfly Effect was welcomed back with open arms, evident from their sold-out reunion tour in March 2018. This iconic act refused to fade away, culminating in the release of ‘IV’ in 2022, which debuted at an impressive #5 on the ARIA Album charts.
Since their triumphant reunion in 2018, fervent anticipation has surrounded The Butterfly Effect’s comeback. Fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to witness one of Australia’s most beloved bands in action. With their emotionally charged, dark, melodic, and energetic hard rock, complete with blazing riffs and soaring vocals, The Butterfly Effect promises a night to remember.
Geelong fans, this is your chance to experience The Butterfly Effect’s powerful and emotive live performance like never before.
