Developed by IHG Hotels & Resorts in collaboration with Franzé Developments, this modern hotel marks the first major new-build hotel in Geelong in approximately two decades. The opening signifies a significant milestone for the city, introducing one of the world’s most renowned hotel brands.

Situated in the heart of Geelong at 40 Ryrie Street, the Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong stands as the anchor tenant of Franzé Developments’ ambitious $200 million mixed-use project known as Geelong Quarter. Boasting 180 stylish rooms, including 23 suites, this hotel is the largest of its kind in the Geelong and Bellarine region. The property also features Holiday Inn’s signature Open Lobby, an all-day dining restaurant, versatile meeting and event spaces, a heated indoor pool, and a fitness centre.

Its prime location – just an hour’s drive from Melbourne’s central business district – seamlessly blends business and leisure offerings, making it an ideal choice for travellers and locals alike.

As for the accommodation offerings, Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong offers a range of rooms to cater to various traveller preferences. From Single Standard rooms to King Suites, many feature stunning views of the beautiful Geelong waterfront and balconies to enjoy the city’s beauty. Suite guest rooms include a kitchenette and separate living area, providing a ‘home-away-from-home’ experience.
