Temper Trap, Veronicas, Grinspoon headline the 2024 Hello Sunshine lineup

Headlining the event is the iconic Australian rock band, Grinspoon. With a stellar career spanning decades, including multiple ARIA Award-nominated albums and global tours, Grinspoon is set to kick off 2024 with a sizzling performance. Lead singer Phil Jamieson is ready to rock, stating, “2023 has been a great year for us, and we’re excited to get together for Hello Sunshine to start Grinspoon’s 2024 off just right.”

Returning home for their first local gig since 2022, The Veronicas will grace the Hello Sunshine stage with their alt-pop magic. The twin sisters, Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, promise to make it the biggest sing-along Melbourne has ever seen, featuring both chart-toppers and brand new material from their upcoming album Gothic Summer.

In a historic moment, The Wiggles – Anthony, John, and DJ Dorothy – will spin an afternoon set of Wiggly remixes as The Wiggles Sound System. Describing it as where “classic Wiggles tunes meet electrifying beats,” John of The Wiggles Sound System invites everyone to witness this dream collaboration live in action for the first time.

Pete Murray, the festival favourite and 3-time ARIA Album Chart topper, is set to bring his sunny sonic goodness to Hello Sunshine. Fresh off his sold-out Greatest Hits Tour in 2023, Murray is ready to soak up and spread the good vibes in Melbourne.

The Temper Trap, known for their euphoric rock stylings, are not to be missed, and Hello Sunshine is the perfect setting for their unforgettable set. Bliss N Eso, Brad Cox, and a lineup of additional artists, including Jay Santilli, Anya Alchemy, D’Arcy Spiller, Lenny Pearce, and the world’s oldest rockin’ DJS Rockafellas, promise to keep the music flowing throughout the day.

Besides top-notch music, Hello Sunshine will feature 20 international food trucks, a variety of bars, over 15 carnival rides, an epic FMX show with aerial motorbike flips and tricks, a dazzling fireworks display, and market stalls by local makers and small business owners.

The festival is a treat for families, with roving children’s entertainers, face painting, hair braiding, and an abundance of festival treats. With lower-priced tickets for teens and children, Hello Sunshine truly offers a summer’s day out for all ages.

Held at Caribbean Gardens, nestled at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges, Hello Sunshine promises a day filled with stellar live entertainment, delicious food, good vibes, and, of course – sunshine!
